Participants will gain a deep understanding of the core clinical features of harm-related OCD through a discussion of empirical definitions, real-life case examples, and an examination of the criteria used to diagnosed OCD. Participants will learn how to design harm-related exposures and response prevention exercises, a key component of behavioral treatment for OCD. To further learning, the presenter will share various harm-themed OCD case studies that address treatment-related issues, such as troubleshooting, ethical considerations, developing rapport, and core fear identification.
