This introductory-level course will explore the role of assessment throughout the therapeutic process as it pertains to obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Clinicians will learn how to identify, accurately assess for, and track the severity of symptoms of OCD. The presenters will discuss the importance of the assessment process, along with providing information on OCD-specific and broader diagnostic tools that aid in the differential diagnosis of commonly comorbid conditions (e.g., generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, panic disorder).
